Jesus Delgado is an Dallas-Fort Worth-based artist, specializing in acrylic paintings that seamlessly blend realism with a touch of fantasy, resulting in captivating artworks where imagination intertwines with reality. Although born in the U.S., he spent his formative years from 2 to 12 in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico, proudly embracing his immigrant heritage. As a devoted father of two sons, Adrian Jesus Delgado (17) and Gael Lorenzo Delgado (6), Jesus draws inspiration from his diverse experiences. A United States Marine Veteran who served from 1996 to 2009, Jesus’s journey as an artist began early in life. He recalls sketching with pencils from his earliest memories, but it wasn’t until September 2017 that he discovered his passion for painting, a passion that has consumed him ever since. Rooted in a deep appreciation for his cultural heritage, Jesus’s love for Mesoamerican history, encompassing the grand narratives of the Mayan and Aztec empires, is evident in his work. While he demonstrates versatility by painting anything from portraits to waves, his true fervor lies in Mesoamerican and Dia De Los Muertos Art. Beyond his distinctive artistic style, Jesus also extends his talent through commission services, offering personalized artworks tailored to individual preferences and visions.
